Is there a pixel size or megabyte size limit for MSMessage.layout.image?

I think I am getting an error in MSMessagesAppViewController.activeConversation.insert(message:completionHandler:). Some print functions are not printing in the debug window, so I can't see what the error is. I wonder if I am using a UIImage object that is too large either in pixel size or megabyte size.
Does anyone know if there is a size limit for this?
