Hi I am making a project using Node JS and I need to have some kind of calendar or something like that user will pick date and time and duration send It to Node server and server will save It in Postgres database. I want them to choose some service that will take like 2 hours for example and will not be possible to book that service for two hours. Also shows what hours are available something like outlook calendar. I find FullCalendar js but it seems to robust for I want to do.Something like outlook calendar

  • Isn't that a thing for the front end to handle via some date picker library?

  • Recommendations are off-topic, so your question will probably get closed, but actually I'd say it sounds like fullCalendar is pretty much what you need, if you want people to be able to book times for a service and see availability. There aren't that many good web-based calendar frontends around. You don't have to use all the features if you don't need them.

  • Yes It is FrontEnd the heading is maybe confusing but I also wanted to people know that I need to work with It on server side and send back available times and from that data build something like outlook calendar in the picture.

  • @ADyson thank you I will take a look at full calendar. I guess there is not any easier way to solve this

  • Well you could write your own simpler calendar style view but it's probably a lot of work compared to just loading a plugin
