Errno::ECONNREFUSED (Connection refused - connect(2) for “localhost” and heroku also for port 25 and port...
I am using devise and want to sent confirmation emails to users on sign up. My action mailer setting are as below
config.action_mailer.delivery_method = :smtp
config.action_mailer.smtp_settings = {
adress: "smtp.gmail.com",
port: 25,
domain: "gmail.com",
authentication: "plain",
user_name: "my email",
password: "my password",
enable_starttls_auto: true
}
Above setting are not working with both development and production for localhost and also for heroku.
I have always same error below
Errno::ECONNREFUSED (Connection refused - connect(2) for "localhost" port 25):
This also fail with port 587.
Any help please.
