including sqlite in make file and building using nmake VS Code

I have a WinForm App created in Visual Studio 2017 and C#. My application uses a SQLite database for which I have installed the correct packages using NUGET.

Packages installed

  1. Entity Framework

  2. System.Data.SQLite

  3. System.Dat.SQLite.Core

  4. System.Data.SQLite.EF6

  5. System.Data.SQLite.Linq

However when I try to make my project using nmake, I get the following error.

sql_crud.cs(2,19): error CS0234: The type or namespace name 'SQLite' does not exist in the namespace 'System.Data' (are you missing an assembly reference?)
sql_crud.cs(12,9): error CS0246: The type or namespace name 'SQLiteCommand' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)
NMAKE : fatal error U1077: '"C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft Visual Studio2017CommunityMSBuild15.0binRoslyncsc.EXE"' : return code '0x1'
Stop.

When I run the code from 'Start' debug from inside visual studio code it works fine since it can import System.Data.SQLite

My question is how can I use nmake to make the sqlite files for my applicaiton? How would I edit the make file to make those changes?

I have tried adding the dll files to the build, but nmake expects a text file.

Here is my make file

FIRMWARE = f.l2
RSOURCES = sql_crud.cs main.cs

all : r.exe

r.exe : $(RSOURCES) $(FIRMWARE)
csc /target:winexe /resource:$(FIRMWARE) /O $(RSOURCES)

clean :
-rm -f r.exe
