HD 125288 (Bayer designation v Cen / v Centauri) is a star in the constellation Centaurus.
HD 125288 is a blue-white B-type supergiant with an apparent magnitude of +4.30. It is approximately 1230 light years from Earth.
In 2016, an asterism including HD 125288 (SAO 241641) was identified in honor of David Bowie.[2][3]
