Why can I remote connect (using PowerShell or wbemtest) specifying a wrong domain?

0

My computer is in, let's say, domain myDomain1

I try to connect to another computer in another domain. Let's say myDomain2

If I try to connect using "Remote Desktop" I must specify user and domain. If only write the domain, the access is denied. I write a wrong domain, the access is denied.

But, if I try to access by PowerShell, I can even do it with a wrong domain

$Computer = "nameOfRemoteComputer"
Get-WmiObject -Namespace "rootcimv2" -Class Win32_Process -Impersonation 3 -Credential myFakeDomainmyUser -ComputerName $Computer

If I try to connect using WBemTest, the same. I can access with a wrong domain

A last thing. When I try to access using this 2 methods but I specify a valid (but not the correct) domain, connection is denied.

Is this normal?
Thank you very much
